Alaska Airlines, Horizon Air Introduce Gift Certificates
SEATTLE, Oct. 29 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Just in time for the holiday season, Alaska Airlines and Horizon Air today introduced gift certificates, allowing customers to give the gift of air travel to friends, loved ones and business associates. The certificates are available for purchase at alaskaair.com and horizonair.com. They are offered in amounts between $25 and $500, and can be redeemed for travel on Alaska Airlines and Horizon Air. "The gift of travel is an increasingly popular choice for holiday, birthday, anniversary, wedding and even corporate gifts," said Ann Ardizzone, Alaska Airlines' managing director of customer experience. "Our new certificates make choosing that perfect gift easy and they let recipients decide when and where they want to travel." Customers can choose from a variety of certificate styles, including holiday, birthday and corporate incentive themes, and can add a personalized message to each gift. Certificates can be sent electronically or printed out and included in a card. Some restrictions apply. Alaska Airlines gift certificates can only be redeemed via alaskaair.com and horizonair.com. Up to four gift certificates can be applied toward one travel reservation. Gift certificates are non-refundable and cannot be redeemed or exchanged for cash, check or credit.
